Good Friends

I'm a bit sad, because some very close friends are picking up and moving to North Carolina. They are moving to the Raleigh-Durham area. They want to be closer to family that is down there, but i feel as if i'm losing part of MY family!
But I have come to the conclusion that there is a bright spot in all of this! What a great place for us to visit! A fall getaway destination!

I am so excited about the tons of things to do in Raleigh - and I can't wait to visit there. It is a great place for a family vacation, but what a wonderful place for a getaway for two!

We could stay in a classy hotel, he could get us tickets to the N.C. Symphony's Classical Series: Branford Marsalis Quartet, and we could hav a fancy dinner afterward. Or sample the nighlife of Raleigh.

While we will miss our friends on a day to day level, we will be pleased as punch this winter to join them in Sunny NC where the weather is mild and the fun is never-ending! So, rather than losing family,, I'll say that we're GAINING a super vacation spot to visit and enjoy!
